Thanks to all players who made the journey to Sharky's in Montrose for the first ever ANGUS 5's CHALLENGE.

The day was a success and we saw some excellent darts and none more impressive than the eventual winners NEXT BEST THING.

5 up and coming young players from Grampian showed the rest of us how darts should be played. WELL DONE.

The day started with group stages which ended with some nail biting finishes to each group.

8 teams progressed from the groups to the quarter finals which was the start of the knockout phase of the event.

Moving into the last 4 was the point where the Angus interest was ended with the Semi Final draw being made up by 4 teams from Grampian.

Some great darts were chucked and the Final was set to be a thriller.

1-1, then 2-2 and it all came down to the
Ladies match on board 5.
